Background

Jessica Board practices in the areas of complex commercial litigation, creditors’ rights, bankruptcy, collections, real estate litigation, construction litigation, employment litigation matters, and general civil litigation. She has experience representing homeowners, contractors, engineers, and business owners in all aspects of civil litigation, from contract disputes to product liability. With a degree in finance, Jessica is uniquely situated to provide commercial clients practical, business-focused legal services. She prides herself on providing realistic legal advice that has an eye toward the bottom line. 

Prior to entering private practice, Jessica served as a law clerk to The Honorable Thad J. Collins, Chief Bankruptcy Judge for the Northern District of Iowa. While attending law school, Jessica was a Managing Editor of the Iowa Law Review and received the American Bankruptcy Institute Medal of Excellence in Bankruptcy Studies.
