July 3, 2013
Cindy Moser completed her term as the 126th president of The Iowa State Bar Association on June 20, 2013 and was commended by the Association's Board of Governors for her representation of the lawyers of the State of Iowa. Among other things, Cindy was lauded for her dedication, attention to detail, leadership style, and extraordinary talent as a speaker and writer. She was also recognized for her fairness to both sides when addressing controversial issues. Her efforts in support of retaining Iowa's 74 judges and justices and Iowa's merit system of selecting judges resulted in all 74 judges and justices being retained by Iowa voters. Additionally, her tireless efforts to secure full funding of Iowa's courts assisted in the judicial branch receiving the full appropriation requested. Well done, Cindy!
