Jill Finken’s general practice includes, but is not limited to, representing individuals and corporations in jury and non-jury trials in state and federal courts. Jill focuses on employment, labor, business and securities litigation.
Prior to joining the Heidman Law Firm, Jill served as law Clerk for Honorable Judge Robert E. Mahan, Iowa Court of Appeals, Des Moines, Iowa and Honorable Mark W. Bennett, Federal Judge, Northern District of Iowa, Sioux City, Iowa.
As an active member of the Iowa Army National Guard, she not only has been educated in military justice but was named as the Distinguished Honor Graduate in 2007 from her Officer Basic Course at the Judge Advocate General’s Legal Center and School. She currently serves as a Judge Advocate and represents service members throughout the State of Iowa.
